Secure compartments inside, I keep my cell phone in the pocket on the back of the bag. I use the x-small and the small and have ample room for my wallet and check book, palm pilot, pens, makeup, sunglasses, camera (occasionally) AND small purchases. I can not imagine dragging all my stuff in a regular purse.

I own 5 of them and give them as gifts. Its love.
