Finally! A book that gives a common sense approach to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. This book offers self-help guidance, and detailed treatment plans and testing. Dr. Conley's treatment plans are specialized to Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Candida, and allergies. It is a must read for sufferers, and their physicians.

If you only buy one "self-help" book to recover from fatigue, pain, brain fog, and chemical sensitivity, get this one. I have read at least twenty-five different books and countless pages of information on the internet dealing with the "mystery syndrome" of the last few decades. I have tried a variety of treatment protocols. All of the effective ones contain the same basic recommendations, which are also contained in Dr. Conley's book. This book is a fantastic "primer" on the CFS, FMS, MCS, CFIDS, Candidiasis syndrome(s) which plague so many Americans today. It covers all of the major bases in a well-written, easy-to-comprehend manner. It gives enough detail to convince and inform, but not so much as to overwhelm. If you have mysterious symptoms and are getting no help from the medical establishment besides Prozac and Ibuprofen, I recommend buying this book. If you can get two, get this one and "The Body Ecology Diet". What you will learn from these two books will give you most of what you need to heal your physical body. Everyone with Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia must read this book! It is the most positive book I have read on the subject. Dr. Conley discusses the possible causes of CFS/FM,but more importantly tells readers how they can get started on the path back to health. This book is a true godsend

I have been spending years trying to convince my doctors(family and specialist) to perform certain tests regarding my fibromyalgia and fatigue. Now I have a book written by one of their peers to prove my point. I live near Lansing MI and the author is from MSU in E. Lansing. He has documented information that I have gathered on my own but cannot get my HMO to do. Maybe now they will listen when I show them his book!

The book "America Exhausted" not only has given me hope, but has given me the tools I need to improve my health! Dr. Conley gives specific information on testing and treatments for everything from fatigue to allergies. It's a book for anyone who wants to improve their energy and life!

I have suffered with Chronic Fatigue and immune disfunction/Fibromyalgia for 16 years. This book is very informative and easy to understand. It gives you options that in 16 years, I haven't tried. And believe me in 16 years I thought I tried everything. I can't wait to finish the book and take the information I've learned to my Doctor. Thanks for publishing this book, Its been very helpful.

America Exhausted by Dr. Conley is easy to read and understand and is the most wholistic book I have read on the subject. If you do not understand your diagnosis, this is the book for you and also will help others to understand similar immune deficiancy
diseases. If you believe that healing starts at the celluar level, this is the book for you. You can't go wrong with Dr. Conley's treatment, it doesn't clash with any drugs you already take and nutritionally it just may be just what you have been looking for all these years of pain and fatigue. Don't wait a minute longer in pain, get to the bottom of the matter and start treatment today...what do you have to lose? Pain, just the pain.

Dr Edward J. Conley was my doctor. I have fibromyalgia and this book is a fabulous read. You will learn that you are NOT crazy and that this is a real disorder. He uses a natural approach combined with a pharmaceutical approach. Dr. Conley knew exactly what lab tests to perform to diagnose any vitamin deficiency. It is easy to read and follow.

...in fact, it probably has a lot to offer those of us with CFIDS and/or fibromyalgia. I just think it's awfully interesting that four out of the five reviews above were written by folks from Michigan, the same place the author lives...
