Its really good, I think this may be an older model though as the inner linings are puffy and a bit different from the newer models so its subsequently not as soft or comfortable as the ones you`ve seen in stores. Its fine though, definitely worth the money and i`m pretty sure its real because it has the American apparel tag on the neck.

i ordered the cranberry in xs and im so glad i did! im 5'6 120 pounds and it fits perfect. small would have been way too big. the sleeves fit fine, a little more baggy than the rest of the hoodie but its actually better that way. i received it WAY quicker than i thought i would! it said the delivery date was january 24th and today is the 15th and it shipped on the 13th by ground shipping. and it is indeed from american apparel, there is a tag on the inside near your hip that says american apparel on it. i will definitely order from here again. quick shipping and so much cheaper than ordering it from AA directly.

EDIT** - i ordered the mermaid green hoodie in xs a few days after receiving the cranberry one, and it fits WAY different! the cranberry one was fitting like a normal girls small sweat shirt would. and the green one was a lot tighter around the shoulders and the torso area, and the sleeves fit tighter than the cranberry one. and also the AA tags are in a different place.. on the regular neck/shoulder area as opposed to the hip area like the other one. but regardless, the shipping was quick and you cant beat the price! PLEASE RESTOCK THE OTHER COLORS IN XS!

I had previously bought the teal American Apparel sweatshirt in a medium at an outlet mall. I loved it, but the size was just too big, so I decided to buy another one in a small. The sweatshirt fits perfectly and is really cute. I love the lapis color (the blue looks exactly like the blue in the picture). I wear it almost everyday in all kinds of weather and it has held up greatly. In addition, it is one of the softest sweatshirts I have ever felt. I look forward to purchasing this hoodie in even more colors once the weather cools down a bit.

Make sure to note that the sizes are unisex, so if you are a woman, even if you like baggy sweatshirts, I suggest going down 1 size

I got this hoodie in forest green. I'm 5'6'', 135 lbs and I ordered a small. It fits really well. I could have gotten the x-small but I like it not skin tight. I am very very pleased with the service from the seller and the condition of this hoodie. It's comfortable and adorable!!!

I love everything about these jackets. They are thin but very warm, as well as incredibly soft inside. They breathe well, look sleek and stylish, and can be worn with anything because of the solid print.
I love that they run long in the sleeves (who doesn't like to tuck their hands in on a cold day?), and at the hip, as it's more flattering on larger bodies.

If I could I would buy one of these in every colour!

I ordered this sweatshirt to wear to work, so I wear it for about 8-9 hours a day, five days a week. It is very comfortable, true to size, and warm but not overly hot. The only negatives I have found are that the zipper gets stuck just a little bit and the sweatshirt does pill. However, I am using this hoody more than the average user would and it is holding up well (I got it just about a month ago, but have been wearing it to work since.) The first couple of times I washed it I put it in a very small load with a couple other red items because I was afraid the red color would bleed onto other non-red articles of clothing. I don't know if that made a difference or not, but I was it with other colors now and I haven't had a problem. Also I did not have a problem with the drawstring or white zipper area turning pink that someone else mentioned.

This is the best fitting hoodie I've come across. Others tend to be big and baggy and lumpy. This one is stretchy and relatively slim fitting. The main downside is that it's hideously expensive.

The fleece was nice and comfortable but the price of the hoodies keep going up and down constantly. In addition its summer so how about cutting a few bucks?

The color is pretty (forest green) and the fit is quite nice, long sleeves and slim. However, after washing this a couple times it began pilling all over. I washed it inside out...didn't help. It's just poor quality fabric; the 50/50 blend of cotton and poly seems to lead to pilling. Also, the hood doesn't fit my head at all. I know some people wear hoodies because they just think they're cool (which they are), but I actually like to wear the hood once in a while. I bought my boyfriend a sweatshirt at H&M around the same time for $40 ($10 less than mine) and it has absolutely no pilling and is still super soft inside. It's a 70/30 cotton/poly blend, which is a much better ratio. AND the hood is nice and roomy. Everyone always raves about these sweatshirts, so I thought I'd get one, but never again.

I've bought 4 jackets from them and every time I receive my jackets, they are always crumpled up and shoved into a tight plastic bag. And of course, once opening them and taking the jackets out of the bag, they have wrinkles everywhere! I don't mind because the prices are cheap and I can just wash them but seriously, they need to work on better packaging -_-
