5.0 out of 5 stars Classic t-shirt
A t-shirt seems so simple but I feel like American Apparel is the only one who gets them right. I prefer a simple look, no logos, graphics, designer labels. Just give me a solid colored shirt that's comfortable to wear. AA did and I'm very happy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
After purchasing several long sleeve fitted shirts (baby rib?) by American Apparel, I was expecting this to be the short sleeve equivalent. While the quality is spot-on, the fit is certainly not. The size of these shirts are akin to other Hanes brand undershirts I own (3 shirts for $8.00 at wal-mart). The reason I love American Apparel is the true 'slim fit', and these...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shirt, June 13, 2006
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
For the price, this is a great shirt. It's tailored perfectly for someone with medium build who likes shirts that hug but don't constrict. They run small, but not so much that a large won't fit someone who normally wears tha size. The material is a little thin and the shipping is high, but neither would dissuade me from purchasing several more of these. Plus the color selection is great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shirt but watch the shipping, May 3, 2005
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
The shirt is great and was delivered ahead of schedule. Fits well, durable and feels great. Price was excellent but keep in mind that there is about a 7 dollar shipping charge (at least to CA). Even with that charge the shirt is worth it though, especially if you put in orders for multiple shirts at a time, which I just did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shirts, November 15, 2008

Great shirts. I had previously bought some t-shirts at the Gap, but the material was too thin and they cost ~$15 a piece and had some strange large neck thing going on. These shirts fit Perfectly(use the Amazon size chart for fit), and had great colors. They shipped my four shirts in separate shipments, but still only charged me the $10.01 for shipping. Total cost for four shirts = $37.97; total cost per shirt $9.49 They also arrived before the estimated time. Great shirts, great service. I'll be getting more again when I need them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Tees, July 20, 2007
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
American Apparel makes quality clothing; these shirts in particular have a high thread count and are very soft. In terms of fit, these tees are tighter than your average tees, making them perfect for thinner people or those who want to show off their physique. It is also worth mentioning that American Apparel products are all made in their L.A. factory, meaning that these shirts are sweatshop free.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you're looking for the best basic t-shirt; this is it, December 10, 2010

Instead of buying them at full retail price at an AA store, you might as well buy them off Amazon. The quality is top-notch as expected with Made in the USA clothing. The fit is perfect. I usually wear Medium sized clothes at American Eagle, H&M, Urban Outfitters etc, but I wear AA clothes in small. The shirt is fantastic. Perfect fit on me, though you might find it a bit long. No worries for me though. If you're already looking at the listing, you might as well get it. You won't be disappointed

The reason I love American Apparel is the true 'slim fit', and these 'tailored fit' shirts have turned out to be anything but. If you are looking for a true to size, standard fit shirt that is indeed of the finest quality, then these are for you. However, if you are expecting something akin to other AA items you have purchased, you may want to look elsewhere. -2 Stars for false advertising.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bottom Line: Great price, even with shipping, May 10, 2010
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
First off, to all of you who complained or warned about the shipping, this shirt is $17 on the American Apparel website, plus $4 shipping, for standard shipping. That's $21 at the cheapest.

Then you take the T's on here which are usually about $5-6, and then the shipping which varies from about $4-7. So most likely you're looking at an average total price of about $11.. Ten bucks less than buying direct from AA's site.

So if you want a great t-shirt for as affordable as you can find an American Apparel t-shirt, get one. And everyone stop complaining about the shipping, sure it's kinda high, but you're still saving $10 give or take. And you're still offered a huge variety of colors.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible!, February 12, 2009
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
These T's are exactly what I've been looking for. I ordered three small black T's since I'm rather tall and thin (6'3", 160lbs.) and the small fits perfectly. They're the perfect length (I've always had problems with shirts being too short) and the sleeves aren't too wide (creating what I affectionately term the "bat wing-effect)and they fit just right around the torso. And at the price per T, you simply can't go wrong with these bad boys; especially considering the quality control that AA utilizes. I highly recommend these T shirts if you're looking for an overall, classy and sharp looking/fit T.

5.0 out of 5 stars T-shirts are great, soft and lightweight, August 31, 2008
This review is from: American Apparel Premium Fitted T-Shirt - A (Apparel)
I see mixed reviews here, but this is a far superior tshirt from any others I have worn. They are lighter weight and softer than Hanes. This means they not only feel better, but they can be hang-dried easily. This prevents any need to shrink them in a dryer, which many cotton products tend to do. Although their delivery speed causes some discontent with some, it is worth the wait. The feel and wear outweighs any shipment delay for me. Made in the USA, too. Highly recommend these shirts.
