So I recently got an AA hoodie in Lapis Blue. I was really excited and content until I noticed that unlike my other hoodie (which I got at the actually AA store in Texas) the tag was completely different than their signature ones. For instance, there was no copyright symbol after American Appparel, it did not say "Made in Downtown LA", nor was the font correct. The tag just said " F497 by American Apparel." Second, The back of the zipper apparently had a website directing where it came from. Also, the fabric feels as if it will not last the first wash.

I'm just going to wear the hoodie, AA or not, since I did pay $35 bucks for it. But for all of you who want the real thing, just go to the store or buy from their offical store.

i ordered the cranberry in xs and im so glad i did! im 5'6 120 pounds and it fits perfect. small would have been way too big. the sleeves fit fine, a little more baggy than the rest of the hoodie but its actually better that way. i received it WAY quicker than i thought i would! it said the delivery date was january 24th and today is the 15th and it shipped on the 13th by ground shipping. and it is indeed from american apparel, there is a tag on the inside near your hip that says american apparel on it. i will definitely order from here again. quick shipping and so much cheaper than ordering it from AA directly.

EDIT** - i ordered the mermaid green hoodie in xs a few days after receiving the cranberry one, and it fits WAY different! the cranberry one was fitting like a normal girls small sweat shirt would. and the green one was a lot tighter around the shoulders and the torso area, and the sleeves fit tighter than the cranberry one. and also the AA tags are in a different place.. on the regular neck/shoulder area as opposed to the hip area like the other one. but regardless, the shipping was quick and you cant beat the price! PLEASE RESTOCK THE OTHER COLORS IN XS!

If you wanna look like Justin Bieber, just wear this purple hoodie which is exactly in his trademark color. The large fit me perfectly as a 6'3 athletic male, which is surprising as often the sleeves are not long enough on this type of clothing. The fleece is pretty thin so don't expect the normal thickness of a hoodie, and the fit is more of a slim fit than full cut. The only negative is that the inner fuzz does leave fuzzies all over your t-shirt which might go away after a few washings.
