Its a Bargain
Not the complete Art Deco encyclopedia, this book is a great glimse of the American style. I found the right amount of narrative and photos and I for one appreciate that some are in black & white. If you are gaining an interest in Art Deco, this is a fine start. A good brief summary with a excellent price point.American Art Deco

Nicely oversized pictures.
This book isn't very thick, but it provides a good selection of many Art Deco images and products. I found it particularly useful when examining posters and artwork because the book is oversized, and this allowed the publisher to put in larger images.

It's a nice over sized photo book, but the reason I bought it was because the picture shown on this item on Amazon caught my attention. The wood work on that photo item was beautiful & inspirational and I was sold, but when I received the book, it was no where to be found. I looked through the entire book 3 times searching for that art piece, but nothing. Very disappointing. Oh yeah, the book itself...if you appreciate Art Deco and already have several books on it, they all look alike.
