I bought this for my American Audio CD player- the Q-fade never worked but i think its just the CD player. If d had known i would have gotten a bigger mixer with LCD screen and USB ports. The slider is messed up, i had to fix it... but it gets the job done. When I put it on TOP of my 19" rack, the power cord had no place to go. )sticks stright out the back. i had to modify the connection going in to fit my DMX contoller above it. Wish it had a light socket or more LED's.

If you're looking for an affordable mixer with some higher end features this is your baby. American's stuff has just been getting better all the time and this mixer proves it.

It's easy-to-use and has all the features you'd expect from a 4 channel unit. In addition it comes with 2 mic inputs and cool looking sound LED sound level meters (if you care if stuff looks cool).

All the knobs and levels are strong-feeling and solid.

I've been using this mixer for about 6 months and I've had no problems at all.
