4.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, August 11, 2009
This review is from: American Automobile Advertising, 1930-1980: An Illustrated History (Hardcover)
Good book, but somewhat overpriced at $60.00. In depth analyses of numerous auto ad campaigns. Lots of black and white duplications of auto ads. Needs a larger color ad section. Oversights include an omission of the Chrysler Cordoba ads featuring Ricardo Montalban and the Cordoba's "Corinthian Leather" campaign. This book, along with "Branding Iron," provides a good overview of auto industry advertising and should be required reading for those in the industry.
