I'm so surprised that someone thought this blanket was rough. How is that possible? The fabric is super soft - almost buttery! I love how it's stretchy and drapes so well. It just hangs down and stays where you put it. The sewn on teddy bear is not scratchy at all. The blanket is on the small side, a good size for swaddling a newborn. Now that my little one is older, I keep it in the diaper bag as an all purpose blanket, cover, etc. Because the fabric is so stretchy and drapes so well, it stays compact in the diaper bag. Highly recommended (unless you don't buy items from China).

Very soft and warm. I like it very much and use it all the time for my baby.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who just had a baby and she told me that her son loves this blanket. It is just right for those days when there is just a little chill in the air.

Great blanket for swaddling - We use it at night to swaddle our lil bear and he goes right to sleep. It is a bit on the small side so I would highly recommend for newborns but not so much for older babies. Our little guy who is 3weeks old will probably outgrow it in a couple weeks.

This is such a sweet, soft blanket. My son loves to snuggle with it. The blanket is fairly thin, but that is perfect for snuggles...

from the picture/details of the product, the blanket looks soft and gentle for my baby's skin...however, when I received it, it felt very rough. I was disappointed.

I was hoping this would be the right color, because I want to have my baby's newborn photos done in a blue outfit on a light brown background, and this blanket is just right! I couldn't tell from the picture what type of material it is, but it's a typical super-soft cotton blanket, and also a little bigger than a lot of receiving blankets that come in the standard 3-packs. And it's quite a bit cheaper than a lot of organic baby blankets. It's just perfect.

We like the size of this blanket because we can tuck it under the edges of the co-sleeper mattress when we use it over our baby (we try to avoid blankets, using sleep sacks instead, but for daytime naps when he's already asleep, it's good to have a blanket we can put on just up to his chest and secure under the mattress edges). Several of his other blankets weren't quite wide enough. The bear in the corner shrunk a little when it was washed (even though it was washed according to label directions), so now it's wrinkled instead of flat. It is very thin, stretchy, and very soft. Also made in China, in case that matters to you.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed. The color is lighter than I expected and the blanket is very thin. Still waiting for the baby to come and hope that it will work for swaddling.

This blanky is a perfect gift if you do not know what gender the baby will be. The color is nice, the little bear and bow are cute, the material is just right. Fast delivery, very nice experience overall.
