I ordered these to be an extra pad for his changing table, so we wouldn't have to wash the changing table cover as often. It washes up wonderfully and the quilting is still strong after lots of use and washes.

I use these pads on top of the changing pad and cover. They are great. They get poopy stains on them all the time and surprisingly the stain always comes out with just plain detergent. I always wash them in cold and just lay it flat to dry. I was worried it would fall apart if put in dryer. It looks as good as new. I am happy with these. Great product to protect your changing pad cover.

I bought these waterproof pads because I wanted some that did not look ugly and pilled up like many others do after several washes. They looked alright new out of the package, but after one machine wash with a load of baby clothes and one delicate drying cycle, the weak plastic backing was starting to melt and snag holes. After the second wash and dry cycle, the fabric on the front was all puckered and the edging shrank more than the center fabric, causing the pad to curl at the edges and not lay flat. I much prefer the reliable pads that pill up after washing, at least they can withstand being washed and dried over and over, as something designed to catch baby diaper changing leaks should be. I will have to throw these pads out after only a few uses because the backing can no longer hold leaks. These pads were an expensive waste considering how long they lasted.

I just received these today and was shocked with the cheap feel of these items. I understand that they are just pads that the babies lay on but the fabric just feels terrible as does the cheapness of the plastic that makes it waterproof. Not at all what I expected based on the good reviews. Oh well.

Love the soft quilted fabric on top. very comfortable for baby. Plus very waterproof. Even after washing several times still meets my expectations (which are pretty high).

I found the American Baby Company Waterproof Quilted Pad very useful when placed under the baby while changing his pamper. Invariably he goes to the bathroom while being changed and this product is very good at protecting the mattress from getting wet or soiled. One side of the pad is plastic and the other side is quilted cotton. The cotton side is absorbent and the plastic side serves as a second layer of protection - together they contain the mess and protect the mattress below. After being used you can wash and dry the pads in a standard washing machine and dryer. No special care is necessary. I would recommend this product to parents of infants.

I returned these the second I got them because they were so much cheaper looking and feeling than the Organic version. I'm so glad I did because I can imagine that after a few washes they'd be all torn up. Plus the organic cotton was super soft while these felt a bit abrasive. Worth paying the extra money.

Bought these to use for my twins and they have held up very well. It's very lightly padded more like batting but serves the purpose. Easy to take along anywhere as it folds nicely to fit in the diaper bag, I have washed it in the machine and it is still like new. The plastic backing has never got damaged in my set, and I have used it as a changing pad and sheet protector on my bed. Highly recommend.

I got these to use on my mini pack an play in place of a waterproof fitted sheet. I am happy with the quality and they have held up well over the last year+ but they were a little small for my purpose. Worked well for a newborn who wouldn't roll off the waterproof area though!

A must have if you have a baby. I use these pads on the changing table. Perfect for catching any stray, wet showers. They wash up perfectly as well.
