5.0 out of 5 stars fear, a true original
raise your cans high in the air and salute true original rockers. a bunch of years later. .this album is amazing just like all of the others. through many many years, this band has progressed while also staying the same and if you can accomplish that combination, then you are the greatest. although members have changed more than once, FEAR is one of the most original...

3.0 out of 5 stars A little long in the tooth!
This album is a step down from "Have Another Beer With FEAR". The music is still there, but the lyrics are lame. There is not a single cuss-word on the whole CD! There is one place where he would have said the f-word, but he censors himself so that it sounds like the word was removed! Perfect for the whole middle-class, yuppie family!

5.0 out of 5 stars More of the same from Fear, September 12, 2000

If you are a fan, don't miss the latest from one of the oldest, toughest punk acts out there. You can't go wrong with songs like "Hard Salami". What more can I say? As a close, personal friend of Lee Ving, I give this album my full endorsement.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still got Lee, June 18, 2007

definitely not as good without the combined humor and talent of lee ving, spit stix, and philo cramer, but just because it's not what it used to be does not mean it's no good. This record is worth the buy if your a fan of FEAR and not hung up on some, I remember back when garbage.

5.0 out of 5 stars FEAR, January 7, 2009
This review is from: American Beer (Audio CD)
Very hard to find. I suggest you get it if you ever run across it. Honestly, not by favorite FEAR album, but it has a few songs that are classic on it. "The Bud Club", and other drinking songs. I'd buy it again.

I thought that, at worst, this would be a decent album. Was I ever wrong. FEAR the Record was one of the greatest punk albums of all time. What the hell happened? Beef Baloney was a killer song. Why would you want to slap it in the face with a third rate rehash like Hard Cotto Salami? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And, above all, if you can't think of new material, don't lameify your classic punk anthems. You're just making yourselves look washed up and you're screwing with the heritage of thousands. Bottom line...If he don't shape up, it's time that Lee Ving was LEAVE ING.

2.0 out of 5 stars If you still get it, you don't get it, September 26, 2002
This review is from: American Beer (Audio CD)
I was the biggest Fear fan. I saw them countless times and slammed my brains out with my gut full of suds. Hey hey, hey hey hey hey, I shunned responsibility, I didn't care about anybody, I thought women talked too much, cities (especially New York City) [were weak] and we should definitely [fight]the Russians! These songs were great, I laughed, I slammed. But now this bit just doesn't get me going any more. On top of that,I read on the inside cover Lee's totally sincere and loving dedication to his wife, child and pets. Ahh...that's sooo sweet. ...
