This is a great personal strobe light to have!
If you are a "bedroom DJ" (or raver) or simply a DJ looking to light a small area, this is a wonderful strobe light to have, though if you are looking for a professional strobe light (for use at a rave or large party), I suggest that you look elsewhere.

The strobe is lightweight and small. Very easy to transport.

The only problem I have with this strobe light is the small power cord, so once again...if you're looking for professional lighting equipment, a short power cord probably won't suit your needs (though you can always get an extention cord).

To enjoy the Strobe more, I suggest you check out the colored domes ("Big Shot/D" Model), and also, for the 1-15 flashes per second ability or the strobe, I suggest you find a spot somewhere in the middle for a dizzying effect.

I searched for a good amount of time for a not too expensive but good quality strobe light just for fun use. This one is just what I was looking for. It works great on all levels and hasnt had any problems yet. I have had two or three "raves" in my dorm room and the strobe light was a hit every time! The only down side I can think of is that the cord is pretty short and I need an extension cord for more mobility.

I was hesitant to purchase lots of strobe lights on amazon because of poor reviews. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I used it on our front porch during Halloween (with a fog machine) and it gave a large/fast burst of light. Perfect for what I had in mind.

I haven't had any problems with this. My roommates and I use it at every party we have and it's lasted. I bought it about a year ago, so I am really happy with it. It is great for a small room. I live in an apartment in a college town, so anything bigger than a room like that it wouldn't work for. But for college rages I definitely recommend it.

This strobe light is perfect for indoor settings. It lights up my entire living room very well and its definitely a welcome addition to any party. Haven't ever used it outside but I'm sure it would work great outdoors too.

This product when I ordered did not have a description of the size of the strobe. With a name of "Big Shot" and looking exactly like the strobes that I have, It looked like a good buy. When I opened the box this little thing will be useless at parties. ITS THE SIZE OF A BIG GULP CUP from 7eleven (smaller than the size of a standard regulation NFL football). Very disappointed on the size and Amazon for not providing this information from the start.
