I started buying these enzymes years ago because I was suffering with chronic heartburn. I wanted a natural remedy because prescription meds are so unhealthy. When I take them before I eat something that causes heartburn, such as red sauces, heavy desserts, alcohol, hotdogs, etc., they totally prevent any acid issues. I love this product! However, more recently I have been running into problems with getting a fresh bottle. The expiration date will be current but the enzymes smell and taste "off". My suspicion is that they are sitting in hot trucks/ warehouse for too long before being delivered. (It is recommended that his product be refrigerated.) And, they are not cheap...so beware!

I have an autoimmune condition and thus have problems with inflammation and proper digestion due to a lack of naturally produced enzymes in the body. This product was recommended by a health practitioner, and I have been taking it for three years. I saw results after the very first time I took the pills, and have had no digestive problems anymore -unless I don't take them-. This product has helped some with the inflammation, but I mainly recommended it to aid in digestion. It is the best medicine I have ever taken to improve digestion, and the only one that produces no side effects whatsoever. I used to buy it at a local nutrition shop, refrigerated, but 60 dollars more expensive than here at Amazon. Highly recommended.
