Large, jet black tiles and slick black case. You'll look like your ready for a game of high stakes mahjong with this set. Hey cool cat, ready to play? Arranged similarly to a classic Bakelite set with a few innovations that will make it a hit at any mahjong gathering. The case is made of wood and painted a smooth deep black color to complement the tiles. The trays and the inside of the case are lined with red felt. The deluxe wooden wind indicator is shaped like a giant Chinese coin. Four beautiful acrylic racks with brass posts are included. This set has 166 tiles, including all the 144 tiles for classical Chinese play as well as an extra 22 tiles for the American version of the game. With this set you can comfortably play either version. To play the Chinese version simply use the red dragons as the 'hong zhong' and the green dragons as the 'fa' tiles.

Moh Jong is not a toy, but a game of/ a way of LIFE.

the black tiles offered a change to the game as my group of players saw it. it was two weeks before i got to play with the black tiles, myself. to my mind, a great asset for me, and i look forward to getting another soon.

the case while beautiful, seems a bit weak on the bottom. strong smell of glue when opened.
