Best album to come out of 2011! "Under and Over It" and "The Pride" are my favorite tracks, but they're all worthy of the #1 spot because of their originality and the uniqueness of the Five Finger Death Punch sound. They're in a genre all their own with this album! If you're a Knucklehead or want to hear something original and relevant to American Capitalism today, this album is for you!!

I've been listening to FFDP since i got a quick glimpse of them at a festival, missed most of their show and have been trying to see them ever since, this was a few years ago. Their music keeps getting better and better and will be seeing them hopefully this month! Anyone that buys this album, will not be disappointed!! Listen for yourself! [...]

I saw them in concert this summer and they debuted the "Under and Over It" song. It's definitely my favorite song on the album. "100 Ways to Hate", "If I Fall" and "Coming Down" are very good as well. They went full ballad mode on "Remember Everything". It's probably my least favorite song on the album.

First off, I was heading into this expecting an album equal to if not greater than both of the band's first 2 studio releases. American Capitalist sets the bar high and blew all of my expectations out of the water. The sheer intensity and meaning behind the songs gives the record so much power.

The title track and Under and Over It will quickly become a rock anthem you'll be chanting and going back and forth in duets with your friends for months to come. The Pride is amazing; heavy meanings in the lyrics and the way the music goes together make it one of my personal favorites. Coming Down mellows the pace down a little but still packs a lyrical punch. Menace kicks it back up and is reminiscent of Way of the Fist and Ashes from 5FDP's previous record. Generation Dead gives another cynical-ish view on the world today and shows the plight of what we all deal with. Oh hey, another rock anthem! Back For More brings it back up to a heavy metal-stadium crushing anthem.

Now we come to Remember Everything. I can openly admit, as an 18 yr. old guy, this song will make you feel so many emotions. Ivan's feelings he puts into singing make it feel as though it is happening to you, and you might even feel like crying. This is one of the saddest songs, if not the saddest. Wicked Ways tells about the dirty tactics someone has used on Ivan in his lifetime. Lastly is 100 Ways to Hate. A song devoted to telling someone how and why you hate them. One giant, amazing rant.

One of the best albums I have ever purchased. Each song is amazing, and I can't point out any negative to any of them. This album deserves it's #1 spot in Heavy Metal sales. Worth every penny for the purchase, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

This is without a doubt an awesome album by Five Finger Death Punch. Yes there is a couple of slow songs however, if you are a true 5FDP fan then you will know that even though they are a metal band then they appreciate some of the more refined songs. That is a big reason as to why they chose to do acoustic versions of some of their songs.

I personally enjoy their music because they aren't afraid to show how the world is actually ran. By this I mean corrupt politics as well as "War is the Answer." If you enjoyed their older albums then you will definitely appreciate this one.

They also definitely stuck to their guns with this album by keeping to their theme of the album. If you noticed then with "War is the Answer" they made most of their songs about war. With this one most of their songs on it is about corrupt politicians wanting to control everything as well as people who sell their soul to the devil, so to speak. They have found very interesting ways to diversify their music but keep to their theme of the album.

To sum it all up, if you like to hear about how corrupt people make their decisions and how it is absolutely ridiculous. Then this is the album for you. Also, if you enjoy their earlier work then this album is very similar to their same style of music but is not the same music with different lyrics, like some bands like to do.

Thank god there's new Five Finger Death Punch out, I've waited 2 years for this day. Album is perfect, from Zoltan's riffs to Ivan's devilish, yet angelic, voice, it is what every knuckhead would have wanted from a new album and more.

The first single, "Under and Over It," gets your blood pumping and has made many of us restless awaiting for the American Capitalist release.

Needless to say, the album has not disappointed me whatsoever. The guitar riffs are absolutely brilliant and refuse to let up throughout the album. Ivan, what can I say that you probably don't already know... He is a lyrical GENIUS and I have to say, this album show how this band can play all types of various elements, all the while staying true to who they are. Impressive as hell and that's why we all have come to know and love this band, "Five Finger (Ivan), DEATH PUNCH (fans)," now yell it with me, Five Finger, DEATH PUNCH!

This album surpasses any and all expectations 100%!

To start... I'm not the biggest fan of Five Finger Death Punch. I've heard a few songs on the radio, but after hearing 'Under and Over It' on the radio, I bought the CD. Wow its an awesome CD. High energy heavy metal, awesome lyrics from start to finish. It kicks off with the hard rocking 'American Capitalist.' If it weren't for the swears it would be on the radio... or maybe swears don't matter anymore. The drums, the lyrics, its a fantastic hard rocking song that gets your blood pumping! Then is the radio hit 'Under and Over It' which I think is a song making fun of famous people and how they're always in trouble... Coupled with the first song, its an awesome one two punch that every CD should have to set the pace of the entire album. I've listened to it dozens and almost a hundred times now.

So that's the candy to get you to listen, but the meat of the album is awesome too. Diverse tempos, great lyrics and great energy. Kick ace songs like 'the Pride' and screaming songs like 'Generation Dead' to heavy songs like 'if I fall' and 'Menace.' The lyrics to some songs explore the past and growing up without being mellow, lame or anything else but a punch in the face!

The vocals are fierce, the lyrics are fight provoking, memorable and diverse. The guitars are energized and sometimes mellow for songs like 'Coming Down' before they kick up and get angry. This is heavy music at its finest. The band knows how to build up in their songs that adds an extra dimension of building your heartbeat into a frenzy of emotion and energy that most bands have never done.

If you're into rock from male models or pretty people, this isn't for you. If you're into intense, diverse, clever, catchy, heavy music that you can fight to or scream out fierce, memorable lyrics this is for you. Buy it now.
