This magazine is a great resource for cheerleaders, enthusiasts, coaches and parents. Offers insight to a world that is often misunderstood. Packed with great tips, articles, ideas, and tons of unheard-of deals and activities for squads and individuals alike.
Also has great online incentives for subscribers, with awesome members-only areas and interactive boards.
Definitely a must-have for anyone into cheerleading -- novice to expert!

"American Cheerleader" is one of the only tools you'll need to succeed in cheerleading. Each issue is jam-packed with try-out tips and advice, cheers, stunts, tumbling, and advice on everything from perfect make-up to advice about uniforms. It also has a resource section with cheerleading uniform companies, camps, schools/clinics, and much, much more. This magazine is the best resource for all cheerleaders, coaches, and advisors. For the younger cheerleaders out there, check out American Cheerleader Junior, with great advice for young cheerleaders.

I have a subscription. And the reason why I have one is for the fact that the magazine is a highly sought after collectible as is Vogue, Seventeen, and Sports Illustrated For Kids, (all of which can be found on Amazon.com ,. As for the contents, well, if you're into cheerleading in general, you'll want and need to read its contents. It covers the major competition results and schedules for upcoming events. It has fashion news, how to's for various routines, and bios on select cheerleaders and squads. It has tons of photos, and unlike some magazines on the market today which seem to be only aimed at publishing articles about sex, American Cheerleader is dedicated to the sport and ART of cheerleading. It is mainly aimed at cheerleaders in high school and college, but has a Junior cheerleader section. From time to time it features bios on celebrities who've cheered, and keeps up with current news concerning the world of cheerleading. If you want to keep up with what is going on in cheerleading, you'll want to order a subscription to American Cheerleader!!!

I am a cheerleader and this magazine is GREAT!!! It gives you great tips on improving your stunts. It also gives you ways to increase your flexibility and overall strength so that your stunts improve. It also gives you great fundraiser tips, tell you where to buy great cheerleading gear and even gives you a diet to start over the summer to increase your health so your in top shape for the season. You also get to read about other cheerleaders and your favorite teams!!! THSI MAGAZINE ROX!!!

The American Cheerleader magazine is a must for cheerleaders, enthusiasts, novices and experts. A great resource for coaches and parents and tons of insight into a misunderstood world. Lots of great bonuses for subscribers online and opens a door to a ton of unheard-of deals and activities!

but I still enjoy flipping through its pages along with my girls, and find the articles on cheers, chants and stunts to be most helpful.

Notice that all cheerleaders who have "reveiwed" this mag gave it 5 stars, and the other people who aren't or hate cheerleaders gave it one, naming it trash. Well if I was rating a basketball mag, I wouldn't give it a high score either!!!
***Why would you rate/ buy this magazine if you weren't a cheerleader in the first place?!? If you hate cheerleading, don't get the magazine!

American Cheerleader, the magazine dedicated to the sport cheerleading ( yes it IS a sport). This magazine is jam packed with articles, tips, stories, cheerleader of the month, horoscopes.. you name it!

Sometimes cheerleaders dont get all the respect they deserve. Cheerleaders are called "preppy" or " snobby," in some cases and this magazine proves differently. Not saying some arent "snobby" and "preppy" but come on give cheerleaders a chance!

Cheerleaders work hard, practice long hours, and show school spirit for their teams! This magazine shows the best of cheerleaders. If your a cheerleader or like cheerleading then sunscribe to this wonderful magazine!

I got a subscription for my birthday and I won't be renewing it. Every once in a while you get an interesting article but a lot of it is kinda boring and looks like it comes from a doctor, not a magazine writer. I wouldn't reccomend it for people that aren't CHEERLEADERS (I am on a middle school pom squad) because you can't relate to it as well.

This magazine is great, and that is coming from a real cheerleader! Lots of different detailed pictures, articles or stories from cheerleaders, and much more. Pick up a copy or better yet a subscription today!
