Great Christmas Album!, September 12, 2010

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of attending a concert at the Mt. Airy Casino and Lodge in the Poconos featuring two of the performers on this album, Alexis Stone Lopez and Nikki McKibbin. It turned out to be such a great concert that we bought this album since these two American Idol finalists were featured on it, and we are so glad we did. Alexis Stone Lopez both opens and closes the album with renditions of "Winter Wonderland" and a stirring "An American Christmas" respectively with characteristically strong, thrilling vocals. Nikki McKibbin, with her thoaty, Janis Joplin-esque voice performs "Alone With The Christmas Lights". The rest of the performers on the Album are great as well, as befits finalists from the Idol show. This album will make a great addition to anyone's collection of holiday music, although it can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
