A selection of articles from a magazine that appeared during the 1970s and 1980s. Most of them - interviews, profiles and other materials - have been written by enthusiasts for general readers; and this is reflected in the easy, conversational style in which they are written. I loved dipping into the book; it gave me a unique insight into how 'classical Hollywood' worked, and what made it so distinct. Recommended.
