Sudoku Cube - more of a novelty, January 17, 2008
= Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars

It's a neat idea & colorful. However, it isn't as entertaining as a regular rubiks cube. Also, you can feel wiggle in the blocks & have to shift it around to get it seated so you can turn a row. I think it makes a fun novelty gift for a sudoku fan, but not a real mind bender puzzle.

Stay away from this "rubik's' sodu cube imposter, January 14, 2009

This cube is made very cheaply. The cube does not move easily at all, and feels quite junky. If you find it for a dollar, that is still too much money. Your best bet is to find an actual Rubik's cube. Then peel off the existing stickers. At that point, clean it and replace the old stickers with Sudoku numbers (or whatever theme you prefer).
This review only pertains to the very colorful, goofy numbers version of the Rubik's style Sudoku cube. There is a black and white version of which I have no familiarity. To be safe, I would still recommend making your own from a Rubik's brand cube. Maybe even try a 4x4x4 or 5x5x5 cube for your custom made cube.
I hope this has helped someone.
