Excellent detailed information on a select few WWII aircraft, December 28, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: American Combat Aircraft of World War II (Hardcover)
This is a encyclopedia for any WWII airplane nut. It features information, pictures, and specifications on 14 of the American fighter and bomber planes used by the Allies in WWII. Detailed facts about the development and history of each aircraft is provided. Engineering diagrams and engine specs are also provided. Multiple pictures and sketches in color and black and white are also included. The only disappointment is that not all famous American aircraft are included. (the Dauntless torpedo bomber is missing, for one) However, most of the well known fighters and bombers are included. A great table or reference book!!
