I dont know how they expect one little sophmore to read a book that it took four people to write, but Im on it. If youre looking for a book to tell you about American Constitutional Interpertation, you just hit the jackpot

My mentor at Princeton, Prof. Alpheus T. Mason authored/edited this book for much of his career and Prof. Murphy et al. took up the mantel.
This is the textbook for "Constitutional Interpretation" at Princeton. I have taught from it to highly motivated high school students and consulted it as a lawyer and to put context around recent Supreme Court decisions (no matter how "right" or "wrong."
I heartily recommend it for readers of history or law who want to read more than discussions of the most important decisions that underpin our system of government but don't want to wade through 100 page decisions. This book provides commentary and key excerpts from decisions.
Would that the talking heads on TV read this book. Or in an ideal world, the electorate. Or even just members of Congress.

The price, like all textbooks, is an outrage. Find it for less or search libraries, etc: The authors live a good life and the publisher be d#m*%d.
