American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream offers a different means to a close comfortable shave. This product is white in color, like other shaving creams, but it has an interesting scent that combines menthol, herbs, and mint along with an interesting consistency that is more like paste than cream. It is specially formulated for coarse beards and it contains special conditioning agents such as added antioxidants, aloe, and avocado oil. These ingredients moisturize the skin and make it easier for a razor blade to glide across with little irritation.

Once you get past the unusual scent and interesting feel of this shaving cream, the next two surprises will be noticed the moment the paste touches your skin. First, this product actually has a cooling effect on the skin. Most other shaving creams and gels offer no feeling at all in terms of temperature. Second, this product is unique in the way it lies so flat against your face. Most shaving creams and gels produce a puffy foam that sticks out from the skin, but American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream is different. It lies completely flat against your face, resulting in a look that is similar to someone who just covered his or her face in a mud mask.

In spite of these unusual characteristics, American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream does produce a close, comfortable shave. The cool feeling and the way this product hugs the skin are unusual and these facts made me wonder if American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream would be as good as I expected. But I can honestly report that this product does produce a very good shave. In addition, your skin feels healthier thanks to the added aloe, avocado oil, and other ingredients. Your skin is left feeling moisturized and refreshed after using this product.

American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream is much more expensive than other shaving creams and gels and because of this, it is tough to justify using it on a continuous basis. But cost aside, this is a good product for shaving; offering an effective means to remove unwanted hair with a level of comfort and a quality that makes it easily worthy of the American Crew label.

Great subtle smell, reduces razor burn to nearly zero, just use a little bit each time - the best I've ever found. Seller was great - fast and exactly as promised.

I am a 24 year old guy and have had mild-medium acne problems for years. I have finally been managing to get this problem under control, but every time I shaved I would face a major break out/razor burn problem that left me shaving with a trimmer for years. The funny thing is that I had a wedding to go to a few months ago and realized that I actually had to shave for it in order to be presentable (I was part of the wedding party). So, let the trial and error begin. I tried about 5 different shaving creams before I remembered that I had been given this one (the less mentholated version) years ago as an xmas gift and had not really needed it at the time.. But had kept it through various moves during my college experience. Funny thing is, that this stuff worked like a dream. I was tentative to try it, because it's more like a non-foamy gel/paste/cream than the regular foam stuff I had been using. But, in the end that was also what won me over. After trying this stuff I will never go back to the others. I no longer break out after shaving, and have rarely had problems with razor burn. I would seriously consider giving it a try if you've got similar problems to the ones that I was facing.

Good ingredients and works well. I did a lot of research before I decided on this shave cream, and I haven't been disappointed.

I'd give it 5 stars if it cost less. But it really is good. I have a lot of trouble with nicks and cuts, and most shave foams, gels and creams don't help at all. I use this on Monday morning after not shaving over the weekend, and then I can use an electric for the rest of the work week. I have very few cuts, now, and that Monday morning shave is really nice ... I don't like to shave, but that one is actually pleasant. And since I use it only once a week, the cost isn't quite as annoying (I'd use it every darn day if I could afford to!).

I, just like most men dont like to shave. But using this shaving cream with a Gillete Proglide razor gives you a very good shave. You dont require a lot of cream and it softens the hairs to the extent that it actually feels good shaving.

I bought this for our son, who has sensitive skin, and it seemed every time he shaved, it looked like it had been painful. This shaving cream has taken the pain out of shaving for him! Well, one day I was going to shave my legs, and needed some type of cream, as I was out, and I decided to sneak some of this from our son. I loved it! It gives a cool feeling while shaving, that stays with you for a little while afterwards. I also think both of us have fewer nicks, so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good shaving cream!

I love shaving with the Crew Shaving Cream, I just wished it was less expensive. I don't agree with their pricing because it can't cost that much to produce.

I shave in the shower by feel and travel a lot. I needed a shave cream that takes up little space in the bag and gives a comfortable shave with a razor. This stuff is great. It's slick and protects the skin, has a man friendly smell and takes only a little per shave. If you travel and shave with a razor, get it.

Works great. Especially if you do a hot towel wrap before use. One issue that i can't solve yet is the hair sticking to the cream...good... the cream sticking to the sink... bad... and i still havent found a true non fog shower mirror. Other wise it is a great product, very smooth and aids in minimizing microcuts..
