"Must-have" if you're interested in law or law school bound...Superb reference and learning book (there is also a Study Guide -- harder to find); you'll keep this book for years of use! If you take a Criminal Justice course, this is the text you should hope the prof demands. It is truly the best out there. Yes, it's pricy - but worth every dollar.

Just make sure you're getting what you want. I thought I had ordered a paperback version of the textbook and it ended up being the study guide (which I don't need).

This is a text book, its required for school, thus I don't see why I need to do a review for a required text book that I'm forced to buy.

Book arrived in very good shape as promised. Ad said no markings and good shape and it was, very happy with the book.

This book shipped fast and arrived right on time. Only downside is that it DOES NOT come bound! I'll be taking it to FedEx Kinko's because it's just a bunch of look papers with holes punched in the side. Kind of annoying, but still a good product!

The book is an excellent book to read and understand. I have fully enjoyed the material in the book. Some books I recieve for school I dread opening, but the writing is big enough, and it is easy to understand. I also recieved it in a timely manner!!!!

The Material in the 12th addition is current and very helpful in the study of The American System of Criminal Justice.

It's a required text book for a college course, probably would be better to ask the professor, but the book material is interesting.
