I'm really impressed with the quality of these par cans. I previously purchased several the Odyssey par 16 pinspots, but they were really tiny and some were even slightly dented on arrival. I'm so glad I returned them and got these instead. These are much sturdier, AND they include bulbs, as other reviewers have mentioned. They are made of metal, and are heavy enough to feel significant, but they are by no means cumbersome. You will also find that par 38 bulbs are readily available at any major DIY store like Home Depot or Lowes.

I ordered 4 sets of the par cans. They came with the lights included and they're perfect. I needed lighting for a wedding but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to pay someone else to do it. I ordered gel sheets from bulbamerica.com and had to cut them to fit the slides but that's ok. I've already tested them out for the venue it's going to be beautiful! Great price for Par 38's...be sure to research which cans you need for your venue prior to ordering. Quality of light and such is important.

These work well and do what they are intended to do.They came with PAR lamps already installed.

I used these as up-lights for my wedding, and they were PERFECT! It was an outdoor wedding at a pavilion with the ceiling being high at about 16ft. I bought green gels because that was the color of my wedding, and they were exactly what I was looking for and gave off just the right amount of light!! Would highly recommend buying these versus paying someone to do your uplighting for you!

We used these with our disco ball. The quality is excellent & sturdy. Easy to install. I enjoyed the fact that were able to buy two and save. The light bulbs that come with them are very large, bright, and heat up very quickly. I was worried about the heat melting my colored gel sheets, so I switched the bulbs. You can fit just about any size bulb in this product.

These light work pretty good, the bulbs do get hot and so does the thin housing, so just don't touch them, turn them off first and let cool for 5min ! I keep them in the boxes they came in and always put back the cardboard insert that keeps the bulb from moving around inside the can. The cords could be longer and also for $1 more I would love for them to have a on/off switch. I use a power strip for 3 and just turn off, but it would be nice to be able to turn ea off. I light up a red carpet back drop of 10' wide 8' high and this works pretty good 3 events down and all good !

The American DJ Par 38B can flood light get 's the job done. There are a range of bulbs that work with these floods, and it was within my budget!

Not the most solid of Par 38's. I bought them as spare lights to keep in my kit for a variety of productions (on and off stage). They arrived timely. Nothing was broken and they worked. Can't ask for much more. Good thing about most of the par 38's is that they'll take any standard light bulb.

These par cans are constructed out of powder-coated aluminum, and seem to be good quality. They use standard gel sheets, but I found that I had to cut down the 7" gel sheets a little so they could fit. The bulbs that come with them are 150W. They are okay, but seem cheaply made. The light coming off of the bulb is uneven, so you may want to buy diffuser sheets or use a different bulb if this bothers you. I ended up buying 6 sets of these (12 total), so I am obviously pleased with this product.

These lights are pretty durable as I have dropped (with the bulb in) twice and they sitll work fine. The only drawback is they get extremely hot. I would not advise setting these were small children might touch them. Other than the heat they do the job just fine
