This product did not do what it is supposed to do. I followed all the instructions, including waiting 2 minutes between tests and allowing it to adjust to room temperature. It consistently failed to report a temperature of greater than 98.7º, while an oral thermometer simultaneously registered 100.9º.

Check Amazon's policies; thermometers are NOT returnable! Save your money, don't waste your time - avoid this thermometer!

This little guy is nothing fancy, but does the job. You basically push the power button, wait for the beep, hold it to temple, wait for the next beep and you have your temperature! Pretty accurate. No complaints from me. ;)

I bought this thermometer to use on my 2 boys who are wiggly toddlers. Although it is pretty fast, it is completely inaccurate in its readings. I learned my lesson, you get what you pay for!

I really love this thing. I carry this around in my pocket at work (I am a CNA) and aside from the button being a little too easy to bump and turn on (probably because it was not designed to be carried in a pocket) I love it. Fast accurate readings, very super easy to use, and I love that it is small enough to fit into my scrubs pocket and not be a pain in the rear while I am bumping through my day. I would buy another if anything happened to this one without hesitation.

It was time to replace my former digital thermometer, and when I saw this one today while out shopping, I thought it was a really great idea. I liked the fact that I would not have to continue buying probe covers.
When I tried the thermometer out today on my sick daughter, I found that it was very simple to use...and then I compared the temperature to the one on another old thermometer. There was a difference of .5 degrees. I tried comparing the two again, using them at the same time, and there was a difference of a whole degree. Another try (after waiting a few minutes as instructed by pkg directions), and the difference between the two was .7 degrees. If the readouts had been exactly the same difference each time, I would keep this thermometer and always adjust for the difference, but since the readout was inconsistent each time, I will be returning it. Sure wish I could keep this. Perhaps improvements will be made at some time. It could be that I got a bad one since there are several positive reviews on this product. If you purchase, make sure you will be able to return it if it doesn't work out.

I work in Home Care and visit many homes a day. This thermometer is very accurate, fast, and easy to read. Highly recommend for the price.

When I got it I went to test it. I took the tempature on four people that were all about 97.0 (and they would not all be that tempature) I tested it several times after and it would sometimes read to 98.5 or 99.1 then down to 97.1 all on the same person with in seconds of each other I am a CNA and I know that being accurate is very importnant(although I did not get it for my job I got it for my son since he has been sick with a fever and you cant take there tempature oral for my two year old and axillary is the least accurate method) so this is one I would not depend on especially since for the normal range of temporal thermometers are 97.6-99.6 and most of the time it wouldn't read much more than 97.0

I am a registered Nurse and purchased this for Home Care. It has never worked . When I purchased it everyone had a temperature. I used the standard digital to confirm and the ad atemp was way off. Now when I tried to useit all it says is ER1. I will be returning it .

This thermometer works fine....it's easy to use and the instant temperature reading is much better than having to wait for the digital reading on my old thermometer!
