The box features the words, "House Party." That's about right, so don't get your hopes up. This is appropriate for a dorm room or other targeted use.

The light output is limited, which would be good if you want a focused light in a darkened dorm room or a room in your house. Not so good if you want a disco ball at a larger dance.

The materials are cheap, but functional. In all--about what you should expect for this price.

The replacement lamps are available on Amazon for as cheap as $4.99. They are easy to replace. Unscrew the lens cover, pull out the lamp and unscrew two screws that connect the wires to the lamp. There is a style of lamp with No. LL4515 and an alternate with the No. ZB4515. LL is a sort of generic no name brand. ZB is a GE lamp that will give you a whiter light and longer life. I had no problem finding the lamps in town. Any professional music store will have them.

It's pretty cool when it's working but the bulb did not last very long and no one around here has a replacement bulb.

I have this same product before that lasted a little over a month, I made sure when I had this one to possibly not use it as much, and sure enough it's out already. They way the thing is made I doubt you can get a replacement bulb without having to repurchase the product, which I have already done. I'm seeking other options for spot lights because American DJ's has proven itself twice to me now to be nothing but a crap product. I'd advise against not buying this.

This is actually a pretty heavy duty light. The large mounting bracket makes it very easy to mount on a wall or wherever with just a couple of screws.
