Recently purchased an M1917 Enfield and this book really assisted me in taking the weapon apart and cleaning it.

I own my Dad's 1917 that he carried during WW-1. This is an excellent manual. I am sure my dad and probably numerous other soldiers would have loved to have had this book. My Dad served in the 42nd infantry, I followed in his footprints somewhat as I was an infantryman in Vietnam. I shoot the rifle on occasion, and it is extremely accurate even after nearly a hundred years since its date of manufacture. It is almost a mystical, probably spiritual, experience to send a 168 grain bullet down range and score a bulls eye at 500 yards. This is a wonderful little book to have with the wonderful rifle.

this booklet shows you the "bar bones aspects of these guns. Typical of those little booklets you get at places like gun stores or sporting goods chains if you want a "quick-fix" for an old, prized weapon in your collection. Not highly detailed but gets the job done for minor fixes or repairs.
