I found many resources to help me present the history of the Civil War to my students but very little on the Reconstruction period. My 11th graders have had several presentations regarding the Civil War over their school years but they did not have an understanding of it's outcomes. The American Experience - Reconstruction is a valuable exposure to the successes and failures of the years following the war.
