This is a wonderful compilation of recipes from some of my favorite American designers. The illustrations are beautiful, and the designers are well-selected. My only two gripes are that the recipes are a bit unexact and hard to follow, and there aren't any pictures. I've actually begun to cook through the book, and have been documenting it in my blog. I like this book and would have given it a higher rating if the pictures of the food were better. It could have used more fashion pictures as well. Sounds crazy but it's called "American Fashion Cookbook!" LOL Still, am glad I was able to buy it.

I originally saw this book in Saks for 45$ in its selophane.. I thought it seemed like a cool concept and decided to get it on amazon. I may or may not be the only person in the world who though this- but I thought it was more 'fashion recipes' than actual recipes from fashion designers. That being said, if you like cookbooks and have an interest in making other people's favorite dishes then enjoy!
