Lisa Marsh is a fashion industry veteran. She has worked on staff at Women's Wear Daily, DNR, and The New York Post, and currently is a freelance journalist. Her work has appeared in such publications as People, Elle, Conde Nast Portfolio.com, City, MSN.com and The New York Post. She is the author of The House of Klein: Fashion, Controversy, and a Business Obsession (Wiley, 2003), and Marvin Traub: Like No Other Career (Assouline, 2008). She lives in New York City.

I originally saw this book in Saks for 45$ in its selophane.. I thought it seemed like a cool concept and decided to get it on amazon. I may or may not be the only person in the world who though this- but I thought it was more 'fashion recipes' than actual recipes from fashion designers. That being said, if you like cookbooks and have an interest in making other people's favorite dishes then enjoy!

This is a wonderful compilation of recipes from some of my favorite American designers. The illustrations are beautiful, and the designers are well-selected. My only two gripes are that the recipes are a bit unexact and hard to follow, and there aren't any pictures. I've actually begun to cook through the book, and have been documenting it in my blog.
