Mr. Stewart goes to Hollywood,

James Stewart was one of Hollywoods most beloved actors and his performances has captured the hearts of millions. He had that rare sense of making the audiences feel sympathetic towards him, wanting to help him and guide him. It was all done with his voice, that strange trademark of Stewart. It's fun to watch this 1980 recording of the AFI LAA to James Stewart for many reasons, but mainly because we know, that Stewart survived many of his colleagues by many years. What an odd thing...Stewarts life and work was long and solid. This tape certainly proves that.
