I bought 4 of these for my father for his garage. Not to mention that they were the best looking and cheapest around, I researched on the American Fluorescents website and decided these were the ones I wanted to get him. They went up with ease and look fantastic. They are really the only lights that can give your garage/shed/shop a nice vintage feel. I have also uploaded a photo of how they turned out.

I had been searching for a traditional barn/shop light such as this for weeks before coming across this bargain. It's well-made, UL-approved (for up to 300W bulbs) and comes complete with everything neeeded (except a junction box to which to safely mount it). Very nice and much, much less expensive than the grossly overpriced designer ones that go for upwards of $200. My only complaint is that the mounting arm is straight rather than the more customary gooseneck design but that's something that's easily correctible for much less than the price differential between this and any others that I was able to locate.

Great light,Works and looks real good, I added a dusk to dawn photo cell and the wiring was fairly simple.

For a fraction of the cost. Just built a new gambrel style garage with metal roof and siding. Wanted to replicate that old barn light look. This was the only affordable option. They went up easy and seem very well made. Can't yet vouch for durability, but they seem like the real thing. Recommend.

I ordered two of these from Amazon on Monday morning because I was having trouble locating something affordable with the vintage look I wanted. I wandered into a Menard's for the first time and "WOW" what a great selection of everything (way better than Home Depot or Lowes). I would go there more often if there was one closer to my house. Menard's wanted about $3.00 more each for the exact same light, but I would have saved on shipping. I'm only out an add'l $12.00, but wish I had looked around a little more before I ordered online and paid shipping. I will write a follow-up once we get the renovation to the garage and get the lights installed. I gave it 4 stars for now because everyone else seems to like the light, but I agree with another reviewer that it would be nice if the arm were also "gooseneck" instead of straight.

I spent some time searching for a light fixture like this to use for path lighting at a lake house. The first fixtures were too expensive, and they really were not suitable for long outside exposure. Finally, I came across these. They are perfect for my application. They are "no frills" utility lights, and they appear to be quite durable. The price was in line with what I expected to pay for a fixture of this nature.

We installed this light on our barn shed. The quality was excellent. The ease of installation was great. Shipping was timely. And the price was awesome.

We ordered 4 of these lights for our new outdoor kitchen/bar. After looking at all kinds of options, we decided for durability and cost, we couldn't beat these! We are so happy with the way they look, great quality, sturdy, and a great value. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again or recommend them to others!

I looked at many web sites and custom light shops, before deciding on this one. The price is great and it is a solid product. I am very happy with this purchase and believe many others will as well.
