Luggage was delivered to me for my daughters, two sets - one of each color - for their visit to Europe to vacation with my wife and I. All pieces seemed very nice, survived the direct flight between LAX and ZRH with no problems. Based on an earlier review, we bought the plastic covers for the large rollaways, which helped significantly. One disappointment, the small zipper on the inside pocket of the tote broke almost immediately. For the price and compared to other luggage I researched, I feel we received a good value for the money.

I had my eye on this set for a while, then happened to find a couple of the pieces at a local store (and yes, it was the same brand)... I searched several of the same stores to finish my set and after 5 stores, I found it! Boy was I happy, until I noticed that the beautiful fabric snags! The piece I was looking for had a noticeable run going down the back. I scrapped at the fabric with my fingernail trying to figure out how that could happen, when I realized the fleur de lis pattern is machine "embroidered" and has a chance of snagging on something rough or sharp. I contemplated keeping it until I reasoned that if it snagged just being handled at a store, how could it handle an average trip? I would be curious to know how others thought the fabric held up. This set may be fine for car travel, but I'd be concerned about checking this luggage at the airport considering how baggage handlers just throw them around. If you love the set, however, I would highly recommend buying vinyl luggage protectors. (Amazon sells them.) I ended up deciding to return my pieces and purchased something else. Good luck!

Poor quality. I opened the box it was delivered in and it looked so pretty. After opening the bags i saw imperfections....big ones. The lining (hard plastic) in the cosmetic bag was bubbled out, and wouldn't lay flat after several attempts i gave up. I couldn't even fit my stuff in there cause it was bubbled out so far. I went on to inspect the other pieces and the doctors bag was already coming apart. One of the handles was coming out at the seams. I am returning this for something that will at least look nice and last long enough to unpack it. How am i suppose to travel with something that is breaking before i even get to pack it? Save your money, buy something else.

Received several compliments on this item, and that is why I am giving it two stars, but with one flight from Buffalo to Charlotte, the strap broke on the Doctor's Bag which I carried on, (grommet came out of hole) and the 28" bag which was checked, has a broken corner bead (Piping); the cover held up well, and I really like this luggage. I am hoping when I take it to the shoe repair he will be able to fix it, and reinforce the other straps. Disappointed in the quality.

This is a cute set, but is sadly lacking in quality and strength. I wouldn't think of sending it thru airport luggage handling, although it should be fine for car trips.
Two immediate problems: (1) The smell is very off-putting. It isn't the fabric as one might expect, it's the rubber handles. They give off an awful odor. NOTE: There is a California warning on the label that this product contains chemicals known to cause bad things. I'm pretty sure that's a reference to the fumes (perhaps toxic?) emitting from the rubber handles. I'm spraying them with Odo-Ban OdoBan Odor Eliminator 2 Gallons Concentrate Makes Up To 64 Gallons and keeping them on my balcony with a fan blowing on them until the smell is gone. Most references I've read say it will dissipate in a few weeks. Fortunately I have 6 weeks until my next trip.
Problem (2): The metal tags are poorly affixed (one has already fallen off) and two of the handles are slightly off center and canted. All that said, I still think it's a very cute set because of the pattern and the doctor's bag and cosmetic case, which are an unusual find. BUT! I would rather have paid another hundred dollars for a better quality set.

think of the cheapest luggage you have ever seen at walmart...no make that kmart. then fabric, no padding and cheap hard plastic faux leather...ugh put a fleur de lis overlay..and voila you will have a very similar set to this. there is only one real suit case...and it is a medium size. the others are all carry on size and smaller. i wish that i had returned this when I received it,but i waited to take it out of the box and the return date is up...

Just received my luggage set today. I must say I am a little disappointed with the quality. The zipper does not zip smoothly and the stitching is off on the larger piece. Then again for the price, you get what you pay for. Overall a beautiful set. I am going to Rome! I hope the set at least gets me through the four months that I am there and back. Good luck.

Everything arrived pretty quickly, which was great since I need them in a couple of weeks. I did not notice a bad smell from these as I saw in many other reviews - they smell kind of plastic-y but they are new, so I would expect that from them. The two suitcase bags are fine, no defects or issues. The quality of the lining could be better, but with the prices of other luggage sets out there I was sort of expecting this anyways. The cosmetics bag is smaller than I would have thought, but overall no complaints about it. My one dissappointment is that the "doctors bag" has obvious manufacturers defects on it. There were several strings hanging out from the seams which I clipped off, and there was some of the material used for the inside lining actually stitched to the outside of the bag near the zipper at the end. I was able to just snip it off, and at this point you could never tell that it was there to begin with at all! So, overall I do like the set - just know that it is made in China and is not the most expensive/nicest set - but it does look nice and hopefully will hold up fine for my trip.

So of course I bought this set because I loved the pattern and color scheme. It is really cute and I got a LOT of compliments on the set. It is really easy to spot your luggage at the baggage claim - another huge plus.

I took this on a trip over the holidays and they didn't completely fall apart. They held up pretty well, but the "label" on the front of the largest rolling suitcase was ripped off from travel. I am giving this 3 stars because I can tell from the quality of the interior and exterior fabric that these probably won't hold up very long. If you don't travel often and you want a cute, affordable luggage set - go ahead, they will serve your need.

If you need something to hold up to consistent travelling, you should definitely increase your budget.
