American Gardener BPR4 Replacement Blades For Models CS18

American Gerdner made the CRAFTSMAN Combo clipper which has this blade (grass trimmer) and a small hedge trimmer blade. The grass trimmer became dull and I purchased this to replace it. It performed like new, I was so happy I purchased a second one for a spare. These blades are excellent quality, I abused the first one by trimming ferns, new growth on my hedges, and it remained sharp for over two years. I was thrilled to find this replacement part at such a good price.

Several years ago I purchased Craftsman Combo Clippers only to have them discontinue both the clippers and the replacement blades shortly thereafter. I have owned many different brands of this same product and these were the best ergonomically, by far. I have found the blades need replacing yearly. I tried, yet another brand of clippers and they were the worst. In frustration, I started a Google search to see if there was another brand of blade that might work. It turns out that the Craftsman was the same as the American Gardener and the blades were available at Amazon. I have purchased them, put them in and have already successfully used them. I couldn't be happier!

I love these clippers! They cut well, hold a charge long and clean up easily. It doesn't take long to get the job done and with the Arizona heat, that's an extra plus. Thank you so much, Tawny
