Great doll-- Great books!
My daughters, ages 6 and 9, LOVE this doll. I also really enjoyed the books that came with the doll. The stories are well-written and explain the doll's accessories, as they pertain to that era in our history. my only gripe would be the doll's hair. As an African-American, I don't know anyone with hair that unmanageable and it also shed-- A LOT. Other than our troubles...

American Girl doll not American made
So, I just read that American Girl doll is not American made. What a shame. Hmmmmm, what's wrong with this picture??
