About the Author

A noted authority on the subjects of graphic design, logo design, and corporate branding, David E. He is currently working on several new corporate identity books.

More About the Author

David E. Carter is the top selling producer of "creative compilation" books in the history of graphic design. He has more than 110 books in print on the topics of logos, graphic design and advertising. David produced the very first logo book as a self-described "kid in my twenties" and that launched a large increase in interest in "creative compilation" books.

He originally self-pulbished his first 8 books. Afterwards, his books were published by Art Direction Book Co. of New York City from 1977-2006. His books were published by HarperCollins from 1996 through 2008, when he returned to film making. He is now producing documentaries "for causes that excite me."

In addition to his work in books, David is a multiple Clio Award winner for his advertising campaigns. His work in television production has won seven Emmy Awards.

His recent documentary - one that he calls "my love poem to baseball" - was screened at the Baseball Film Festival at the National Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, New York in 2010.
