Review
With thousands of gun-related reference books and catalogs available in the Blue Book Publications research library, if it got down to keeping only three titles, they would be the Blue Book of Gun Values, Norm Flayderman s Guide to Antique American Firearms and Their Values, and American Gunsmiths by Frank Sellers. No other three firearms publications will give you more information and up-to-date values. It s the least expensive and most informative three book insurance policy any gun owner, collector, or dealer can have. --S.P. Fjestad, Author & Publisher, Blue Book of Gun Values
As someone who receives thousands of information requests for firearms information, I have always found American Gunsmiths by Sellers to be indispensable as a reference work. It has been within arms reach of my desk and phone for 20 years. This new edition updates information and adds thousands of names to the pantheon of American Gunsmiths. It is invaluable as a reference and will unlock many mysteries for those of you who have this old gun hanging over the mantle. --Philip Schreier, Senior Curator, NRA's National Firearms Museum
About the Author
The late Frank Sellers was a noted authority on antique and modern firearms - a knowledgeable dealer, collector, and author of numerous books on the subject. American Gunsmiths, first published in 1983, is considered his landmark title. Sadly, this new 2nd edition is Frank's last book.
