The Editors of the American Heritage Dictionaries and of other reference titles published by Houghton Mifflin Company are trained lexicographers with a varied array of interests and expertise. This book is an amazing resource for children. My children literally fight over who gets to use the book next. I highly recommend it for any classroom grades 4-7.

Teaching fifth graders English is a large task. It is hard to find meaningful resources to assist in the writing process. I highly recommend this thesaurus for any teacher wanting to improve student vocabulary and teach reference skills. My children literally fight over who gets to use the book next!

As a homeschooling mom I was furstrated with the old edition we were trying to use. This one has been perfect though I know we will have to get a more advanced one as the kids get older.
