Good General U.S. History Trivia,

This resource on some of the prominent figures and pivotal aspects of American History is a good basic reference. The book contains fairly general knowledge and does not provide some of the minutia that true trivia buffs and American historians will be captivated by. However, it would be excellent for young adults or someone wanting to know more specifics about U.S. history. The entries are informative rather than unusual as the cover claims. Some of the entries are obscure, but they don't point out the relevance of the fact. The book does not take as much of an entertaining slant as I had hoped, and really just provides a general overview of certain well-known periods in U.S. history.
