The feeder clock does not work well and totally sends the feeder off at different times then intended. I have purchased three in the last two years and have had the same problem with all of them. The feeder is relatively cheap but it does not meet the rigors of going year round in rough weather.

This feeder is easy to operate and provides us with hours of enjoyment watching the wildlife visiting it. Using our five gallon metal bucket, we set it up in an hour and now only have to fill it once a week to keep the animals coming in several times a day.

I bought this to replace the digital model that came with my feeder and broke after my feeder was blown over by wind. It actually works well, just takes a little longer to set. I like it.

My dad is a firm believer that these feeders are the best ones out there. He has 2 already, and purchased 2 more this holiday season. Over the past 5 years, he has been very pleased with the longevity of this product.

This feeder kit is the easiest to use of all the feeder kits on the market; this is number 5 in my inventory and these have accumulated over a three year span.

1. Install Batteries

2. Set the time

3. Install pins at the your selected times for automatic feeding / up to 24 times a day / my feeders do well with two feedings each day.

4. Set the amount of feed with the minimum / maximum knob

5. Replace the cover

The American Hunter Feeder Kit with the Analog Clock Timer is reliable and as stated, it is the easiest to set and know that it is set properly. The digital feeders are subject to being complicated to program and I just personally have a hard time understanding the instructions.

I've seen the negative comments and was a little leery about buying it but I have had no problems at all. I am using whole corn and it hasn't hung up one time.

Based on my experience I would recommend this feeder.

I have used this feeder for almost 8 months. It has the ability to add all the whistles and bells and has worked alright until now. Clock always was a problem, but acceptable, just had to reset time always. Now the clock just quit working all together. I am trying to contact company to see what they will do about it. I have had several other feeders, other brands, with problems, and they have fixed them all so far. I will see. But all in all good feeder for the money, if the clock was better.

I ordered this to replace a non working feeder of this brand name, that was given to me by a friend. Since I had read bad reviews about it, I put batteries it and left it on the kitchen table to see if it would work correctly. It ran several minutes and the clock quit working. Changed batteries. Worked several minutes and it quit working again. Got box to send it back, but decided to try again and it is still working. I dread the day I have to replace the batteries and see if it will work again. This has a bad defect in it. It might work, and then it might not. Cinfirms what several other reviewers had said.

I installed it in my hunting area... but it would not spread the deer corn but about 5 feet...the little motor does

not have enough power to throw the corn as it should...
