Works great in American 225 lb. feeder
This funnel eliminates wasted feed which collected in the bottom of the feeder. Being in a humid climate, the corn would rot and ferment...not a pleasant clean out job. The funnel eliminated this completely. It was a little tough to get in however, with a sharp edged 1x4 and a rubber mallet, I was able to get it seated. It fits tight enough I did not need...

Should come with this in the first place
This should be included with the dang barrel to begin with since the food doesn't want to fall. The food still sticks a bit and you have to shake the barrel or get inside and push it down. Maybe it is the food I am using, but don't think so, since my friend has the same issue. I am not overly happy with the entire set-up but it works OK.

It was a little tough to get in however, with a sharp edged 1x4 and a rubber mallet, I was able to get it seated. It fits tight enough I did not need screws. For those of you with the older American feeders without a funnel bottom integrated into the design, this items works great.
