3.0 out of 5 stars Did I grow up or did the show get less funny? November 27, 2008

Season 1 & 2 I enjoyed very much with the genre-twists and spoofs. But season 3 just didn't hit my funny bone as much. The novelty seemed to have worn off for me and there was nothing new or surprising.

I did not learn anything new about the characters, so they did not grow in this season, at least for me.

Still it was good for it's run of 3 season, and if you've got season 1 & 2, I've sure you'll get this just to complete your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most extreme season of the series November 1, 2009
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Like the other reviews make clear, the third and final season of the Drawn Together series goes way above and beyond the other two seasons with toilet humor, sexism, racism, violence, and general inappropriateness. However, imho they took things just far enough to make their audience uncomfortably entertained. At 24 years old, I am extremely amused by the horror and filth that is Drawn Together. The show definitely went out with a bang!

As a fan of the previous two seasons I was pretty happy to see that Comedy Central released the final season on DVD. For a while I wasn't sure that they were going to make it available. This DVD compiles all of the episodes in all of their uncensored glory, an act that sometimes works against the show rather than for it. Sometimes it's funnier to hear a bleep or view a pixelated body part than it is to actually see/hear it.

Even so, this DVD is still pretty darn good. The final episodes are still entertaining & fans of the show (like me) will be glad to have their collections complete. There's also a lot of great extras in this set (which I have yet to have the time to fully explore) that's sure to please most.

5.0 out of 5 stars Drawn Together dvd
Imagine you mixed South Park, Beavis and Butthead, with Family Guy. This is a crazy cartoon that is very funny in a very adult way. Everyone I know that has seen this liked it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series!
Very adult humor, a fun take on the silliness of reality shows at the least.

1.0 out of 5 stars Drawn Together falls on its face
The basic idea of a Real World spoof is not a new one. People have been playing around with this concept forever. Drawn Together's angle is that their spoof is a cartoon. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars A Waste
I should have visited with others before buying; this is a waste of money. The "humor" is not, there are long stretches of nothing followed by dull wit. Save your money.
