Product Description

From the author of Japanese Cinderella and Japanese Lingerie Shop, comes yet another romantic story about the story of a married Japanese man whose introduction to America comes by the way of a single American researcher traveling in Japan for her research.

Kenji is a middle aged Japanese man who is married to a piano player but the couple is so busy with their careers that they might only have a part-time marriage. Things change for Kenji when an American woman moves into his apartment building. Hoping to realize a childhood dream of making an American friend, he makes an effort and to his pleasant surprise finds out that Mary was willing to be more than just a friend. Thus, the couple begin their adventures in and out of bed. Enjoy this sweet and charming love story of an interracial couple.

Pierre Coda, the author, wrote this story based on the actual experience of his ex-girlfriend when she first moved to Japan.

More About the Author

I had never envisioned that I will end up spending a total of five years in Japan, studying the Japanese language, and living and working there in both the countryside and Tokyo. I was also lucky to have worked for a company that required me to travel all over the country.

During that exciting time, I interacted very closely with the Japanese and their wonderful culture. Being able to speak the language made the experience even richer. That also meant that not only did I have relationships of my own, I was also talking to a lot of Japanese and foreigners about their adventures.

Being in Japan has been a formative period of my life and has allowed me to write about that. Most of the books that I write about are based on true stories of Japanese people and gaijins who love them.
