The Selena video:'Murder of a Star',was very interesting because it compiles key points from the yolanda saldivar criminal affair; which some parts of the video made it difficult and painful to see, but you feel grateful by seeing Selena's unique personality, her spirit, and to see and feel the special moments shared with her fans while in concert or relating with them personally. She was gifted with her innate bountiful sense of giving on stage, or just by simply hearing her music, or by her truthful way of singing a song from her innerself,(many "well" known singers try to copy her unique performance on stage as well as her particular way of singing, you could call it her trade-mark, but the results are unsuccessful and worthless). And without any question her beautiful and powerful voice, which in my years of existence I have never found anybody like her, she was the singer of a century!. Nota: Thanks for reading my review and my personal point of view regarding Selena, and I can't wait for the release of her Houston Astrodome Concert in 1995. Maria Carolina

This video was very well done, gives you the complete story without coming across as "tabloid-like". You get a real sense of the tragedy of the whole thing, how it affected Selena's family, and her fans. There's some interesting footage of Selena & of the others involved, and the whole thing is just done in a very straightforward, non-sensationalized way. For those who don't know the whole story, and for Selena fans, it's worth the purchase price. My only complaint, and it's not really the fault of the video, but it's that I was hoping to learn something new, that there might be some additional information, and there were a couple of things in it that I didn't know, but most of it has been covered in one form or another already. Still, I'm glad I bought it.

An excellent video and well worth the price. The tragic story of the Slaying of Selena is masterfully presented in this ' must see' video. A superb factual documentary covering all aspects of the tragedy. Footage of Selena, interviews with Yolanda and a tragic glimpse of the funeral itself makes it compelling viewing. Interviews with her father tug at your heartstrings when you see how much he has lost in the daughter that he loved so much. Selena footage shows her at her most alluring and at the height of her success. This documentary will give many answers to many questions that fans may have. A superb video to add to a Selena fans Collection - don't hesitate buy it today!

A great review of the trial, if you are truely a Selena fan this video is for you. It filled in alot of empty information that I was not aware of. Excellent video and interviews with Selena. She will be missed but her memory will be kept alive by her family and those who love her.

Selena: Murder os a Star is an interesting video becuase of it's how it tells about a biography of a great Tejano singer and the tragic ending in death of the Tex-Mex La Reina.Also it tell you how a singer 23 at the happiest time of her life but on March 31,1995 she was brutally gunned down by one of her most trusted employees Yolanda Saldivar.Also it has interesting pictures with her,her family,and her killer Yolanda Saldivar and many other photos which describe her and her wonderful personality.This is a must-have for all Selena Fans,and if you can,buy it. This documentary focus on the trial , evidence , circumtances and veredict. It gives you the chance to see what the lawyers taught about the case, both defense and prosecutors. You can also here from some of the jury members about how they came to a veredict. I recommend this documentary to every Selena fan. It is the best documentary about the trial. Buy it.
