very nice and heavy
This pan is heavy weight, shiny and well made. The best part is that it is made in the USA! I can't find a deep dish variety on Amazon of this company but I sure would like a deep dish pan made like this one.

Not as deep as claimed
This seems to be a very high quality pie pan; it has a good "heft" to it and feels very solid. I ordered it because my wife wanted a pie pan a bit deeper than those we already have (which are 1.5" deep). This product claims to be 1.65" deep, but it is not - it is a tad under 1.5", so actually slightly more shallow than those we already have. We returned it,...

We returned it, so I cannot testify as to its utility. If the shallowness doesn't bother you, I'd give this a try.

This pan is terrific! Its heat absorption improves the flakiness of my crust recipe and the metal releases the pie without part of the crust sticking.
