We had no problem with the edges. Yes, they had a cut edge versus a rolled one, but not sharp enough to cut yourself on anyway. I decided before buying this pan that if I felt them to be sharp, a quick pass with a diamond stone would quickly soften the edge. When you take the pan from the oven, you will be using an oven mitt anyway, so I don't see it as an issue. The edge was not sharp enough to worry about in our opinion.

The issue that bothers me was the first time this pan was in the oven, it warped terribly. We heard a loud pop, and the pan was warped roughly two INCHES out of flatness. After removal from the oven, it cooled down and returned to its original flat shape, so we will see if this behavior continues the next time it is in the oven.

We love it as a stainless pan, but if we see things go flying around the interior of the oven every time the pan heats up, that would diminish its value a bit.

I have two of the NordicWare aluminum pans and I prefer to use them because they feel better when I hold them (edges are rolled). Also, as another person wrote in their comment, this pan does not stay flat in the oven. Once it gets heated up, it gets contorted out of shape with one side up and one side down. Especially, not good if you are baking a homemade pumpkin pie and the pumpkin mixture spills due to the warping. I would not recommend this pan. It's pretty, but doesn't work well in the oven.

Update: Nov. 2011. Still does warp while in oven. But returns to being flat once out of oven. Just read some reviews on the All Clad Stainless (jelly roll type) pan and may have to bite the bullet and buy one, even though they are expensive. Waste of money on this American Kitchen Stainless pan, because I rarely use it.

The first time I used the pan it warped after I removed it from the oven it did flatted down again. Not sure how other reviewers recommend it for baking cookies. I have now tried to use it three times and warps every-time. Find a different pan.

Warps terribly in oven, upwards of two inches high on a corner as mentioned by other reviewer.

It's fine if you're just baking cookies, and that's why it gets two stars. But if you're making something like baked asparagus , or cinnamon rolls, or anything that has a glaze of olive oil or sauce, all the liquid runs to one of the warped corners and pools up.

We will continue our search for a good stainless steel cooking sheet. This one ain't it.

Has worked great for me. I have not had the warping problem others say. Has always heated evenly so far. Cleans up easy. I am also happy it is made in the USA. What more could I ask for. Well ok the price could be a little lower but it is not bad. The local place here was $2.00 lower. With tax about the same as amazon.

I purchased this item to avoid non-stick cookie sheets. I had no problem with the label since the Natural Orange degreaser I ordered was completely emptied inside the box...that glue was orange-ed away before it even got to me. The pan did warp though and has not gone back to its original shape. It gets completely out of whack in the oven, but then returns to a slight warp once cool...but it's definitely not level. It is not super easy to clean either...especially on the edges. For some reason, I can clean the flat surface fine, but grease/oil is not coming off of the raised sides or on the outside/underneath lip...even with my trusty old baking soda! Keep telling myself it's better than non-stick! If I bought it at store I would've returned it or if it were free return shipping.

The pan is lovely and I plan to buy more from this company. I'm trying to bake healthier and get rid of all my aluminum so I'm replacing them one by one. This one is a winner and made much stronger than the Norpro ones.

This is great! I actually have two of them. They really are sturdy, and easy to clean. I'm looking for more bakeware from this company. If you like baking cookies, and sometimes don't get the pan adequately greased (like me)-never fear. A light scrubbing cleans this right up.

This is a great American made product. Well made, bakes well cleans up easily. I love it. You"ll want two of them, trust me!
