American Kitchen 9 Inch Stainless Steel Round Cake Pan

I love American Kitchen. This pan does not disappoint. I have made corn bread, brownies, and cakes in them. These smaller pans are an ok thickness, could be thicker. I coat with olive oil and lightly flour before putting any batter in. Works like a charm.
I have several of their other pieces as well. Glad to find baking gear made in the USA that does not have non-stick and is not made of aluminium.

I shopped around for quality baking pans for my health focused wife. This pan is very well made, and I recommend it highly. She loved it!

I have been looking for a pan for years to go with my grandmother's old 8 inch cake pan. I still have not found the 8 inch replacement in a round stainless steel pan, but this 9 inch pan is as close as it gets. Cakes slide right out. It is a perfect weight, size and depth. It also stacks perfectly, unlike the Wilson pans that are aluminum and clumsy. I just wish American Kitchen would decide that an 8 inch round stainless steel cake pan would be worth marketing. Until then, this 9 inch pan is absolutely "The Berries" to me. I would recommend this pan to anyone. It is is great for cooks of all ages and skill-sets. It is also quite affordable.

I refuse to use nonstick bakeware or cookware. After searching high and low in a certain big-box store and only finding nonstick cake pans, I was thrilled to find these in a corner in the back of the bakeware section. I didn't know anything about the manufacturer, but they were the only NON-nonstick cake pans available in the store, so I bought three and crossed my fingers. They have not disappointed! So far, I have made two layer cakes with these pans. They turned out perfectly and evenly baked, and they slid right out of the pans. Since these pans are not nonstick, you do have to prep them properly. I spray them with oil and line the bottoms with parchment paper; works like a charm, and it also makes them extremely easy to clean. When I bought these, I was only looking for something that wasn't nonstick; now I'll look specifically for stainless steel every time because I'm so pleased with these. I will buy this brand again; I just wish they made muffin pans!

The pans arrived and I was surprised how heavy duty they are. They appear to be commercial grade.

Each 9" round cake pan weighs about 12-1/2 ounces. It feels like about double the weight of the average 9" cake pan. They have vertical sides that will make a nice cake. The bottom is polished mirror finish and inside the pan has a brush finish.


I thought about buying All Clad bakeware, but I am happy with this similar item that cost less.
I highly recommend this item and will purchase other matching pieces to complete my set.

A great pan that we use in our Breville Smart Oven to replace the chemical coated pans that these ovens come with. Sturdy and good finish. It is nice to know that there are still a few quality companies left in the US. Also much more reasonably priced vs. All-Clad.

I have looked in stores for years for a pan like this. I needed another to match the set I had for three layer cakes. These are high quality and are a perfect match.

Pretty sure I reviewed this before but it is still a great cake pan. Just a little on the expensive side.

I just rec'd the pans and omg fell in love right away. Strong, steely, gorgeous and made in the USA. What's not to love? I admit I haven't cooked in them yet. I rarely bake cakes (kept a flimsy aluminum set from Woolworths for years), but these feel and look so great that I imagine they'll be a go-to for lots of stuff. Nice surprise - on turning one over I saw the bottom has a beautiful mirror effect - I wonder if that will last?! If I find they fall short of the 5* rating after cooking in them, I'll do an update.

Just received these...and they are gorgeous cake pans. Haven't used them yet, but they have a good weight, shine, and soft edges. Nice.
