If you are a serious collector, like I am, this book adds to the mystique of the Alfie fire truck, series 700 and 800. Most of the pics are in black and white. It's a very definitive collection of pics with little text. I drove a series 800 alfie as a volunteer fireman and those times will always be treasured by me. In that respect, I think this author should have gone farther, added the all important series 900, and inserted text explaining about the alfie company and it's importance in American History.

I found the ALF from my home town and station that I belong to! I could have never found the pic's that are in this book, I owe the author a great deal of gratitude!
