halogen floor lamp,

I am really enjoying this floor lamp. Mine is brushed steel and is designed very well. It was easy to assemble. The best of all is that the lamp provides a lot of pleasant uplighting (much better than the flourescents that falsely claim natural color) and very good intensity for reading with the downlight provided by the same 300 watt bulb.

My Wife reads alot and crochets, This light has a dimmer switch and she can focus the amount of light where she wants it!

I have bought two incandescent torchiere lights that buzzed too much, burned out blubs too often and simply were not bright enough.
This light however, is easy to assemble, not too expensive, very nice looking, bright and safe. It has a mechanism on the bottom that turns off the light if you rock it even just a little. It also is somewhat adjustable and nicely and softly shines down and brightly up. Overall, this is a really great light with in my mind no weaknesses. I love all my halogen lights and this one is the best of them all. Hope you enjoy yours. Sam Kochel
