Not a bad product for the price. Works as advertised. I have two small nits: the light cell that's supposed to turn it off automatically is not very sensitive so it stays on most of the time regardless of the ambient light level; the unit can be plugged in with the light cell facing up or down. It would be nice if it was foolproof and always faced up.

The product is sufficiently bright for a nightlight. The light is directable, durable and uses little electricity.

As the other reviewers have stated, the item you receive does not look like this picture. The packaging it comes in does not state "bright", and the light is not in fact very bright. I got a better looking, brighter photocell night light at the dollar store for, you guessed it, $1. Don't waste 8 bucks.
