After hearing John perform these pieces in New York a few weeks ago we were blown away by the power of this music. The album is no let-down. This album is recommended to anyone who needs their soul cleansed and their worries washed away. The vibe of American Mystic is uniform throughout, and is unparalleled by any album I've heard in the past few years. Reminiscent of a previous effort, Passenger and Messenger, (which I would love to see re-released and available) American Mystic leaves me craving the next album.

The product description is very, very accurate...but I would add that this CD is best appreciated through headphones...after all, it is "contemplative" music: don't let any outside noise interfere! Highly Recommend!
